Michelle Katz, originally from New York, moved to Los Angeles in the late 1990s to begin her career as a Film and TV producer. Over the years, she contributed to numerous high-profile shows, most notably as Co-Executive Producer of Trial 4, an eight-part documentary series on Netflix. In 2020, Michelle left Los Angeles and the television industry to embrace a new chapter as a full-time writer, relocating to the mountains to pursue her creative work in a more tranquil setting.

An award-winning abstract painter, Michelle now shares a gallery space with two fellow artists in Idyllwild, where her artwork is displayed. Her writings are featured on her Substack, Broken and Healed, and she has been published in the New Earth Almanac. Michelle recently completed her spiritual memoir, Awakening In The Age of Metals, which explores her healing journey through plant medicines, indigenous practices, and ancestral trauma.
